Our Approach

We are a husband and wife duo who absolutely love capturing your special wedding moments. We shoot documentary style, which means we capture the story of your wedding day without you noticing- like invisible photography ninjas!

Our favourite pictures are simple at first glance, but as you look closer you start to create stories. Photography is about the moment, but people often miss the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments. Real life isn’t a posed picture, it is a laughing with a snort, lifelong in-jokes and that face you do when you get a terrible jumper for Christmas.

Every couple is unique, as is your wedding day. We are there to capture what makes your day unique, be it in the little touches, the laughter and the relationship with the people special to you.

Main Photographer – About me

My name is Antony and to put it simply, I take pictures… and I absolutely love it! Although they are not just any pictures, they are pictures that you can look back on and relive the magic of that particular moment.  I enjoy meeting people, listening to their stories and the spontaneity each job offers.

I married my lovely wife Carly in September 2015 and after planning the entire event ourselves, from flowers to caterers to toilets, I know the stresses and challenges weddings can bring. I was even told off for taking pictures at my own wedding (I just couldn’t help myself!) I live in Harlow, Essex with Carly (your second photographer) our little boy and our rescue dogs Molly and Frank.

My experience

I graduated from University in 2006 with a BA in Graphic Design, specialising in Photography. I have always thought there was something special about photography, I grew up in the era of the Nokia 3310 when everyone didn’t have a camera a swipe away on their phones. If you did have a camera (all 3 megapixels of it) and used it often you were in the minority. I have worked in photography for the good part of a decade, photographing live music, events, models, and everything in between. Once you have elbowed your way to the front of the press pit at a metal festival, I think you are geared up for anything!

My Gear

Today everyone is a photographer… With smartphone cameras becoming increasingly professional why do you need a ‘proper’ camera? The list is long, I could bore you with talk of aperture, fixed focal lengths, shutter speeds and iso, not to mention raw image capture formats etc.

I shoot on a a range of cameras 5DMkii | 5Dmkiii | Canon E0S R | Sony A7rii  Lenses range from 28mm up to 280mm.
